剧情介绍
郭海（王学圻饰）是的战斗英雄，是军职离休干部，一直和几个晚辈一起住在干休所 的一套大房子里。他的妻子因病去世，一直是一个人生活着，虽然常常感到苦闷而无处诉说。林德山（曹永祥饰）是郭海当年的老战友，也是军队的离休干部。他和郭海的宿怨缘于一桩情事。林德山离异了乡下结发妻子，好象《霓虹灯下的哨兵》里的陈喜。于是林德山受到党组织的处分，对他批判最凶的就是郭海。林德山和前妻有个儿子叫林大寒（王新军饰），母亲去世后，林大寒一人来到军分区大院找林德山，成了当年军分区最大的新闻。后来林大寒追求郭海的二女儿郭鲁泉（王姬饰），被郭海断然拒绝，不过郭海也帮了林大寒一个大忙，他送林大寒去当了兵。时间过去许多年，林大寒已经成为某个神秘公司的老总，林家和郭家的子女们的故事也因此纠结在了一起。
